We believe that prevention of disease is a key to staying healthy. We believe in the use of immunizations to keep you safer.

Our office keeps a complement of the most common immunizations used for teens and adults.  We do not, however, do routine childhood immunizations as the local health department is able to provide those services. 

Adacel and Tetanus booster shots are available for all age appropriate patients.  Adacel, a combination vaccine, combines a booster to protect against Pertusis, otherwise known as Whooping Cough, and the regular tetanus immunization.  Adacel is given as a one time injection, and then the regular tetanus is administered thereafter.

Pneumovax vaccine is available for patients who have cardiac, respiratory diseases such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes mellitus, Cancer, Congestive Heart Failure, previous pneumonia, or anyone >65 years old.

Influenza vaccines are available annually during the winter months, subject to supply and availability.
